Founder and President of Battle Canada
Clyde is the Founder and President of Battle Canada and holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Business Marketing. He has a wealth of experience and skills spanning over 20 years in multiple businesses such as restaurants, textile, print, and real estate. He established the “Battle” brand just over 4 years ago and gained a massive opportunity to provide high-level basketball events in Toronto and across Canada and is well known amongst the basketball community. Based on the success and popularity of Battle Canada, Clyde decided to open multiple facilities in Ontario and Winnipeg.
Juanita Nathan
Ward 7 Councillor, City of Markham Council
Juanita Nathan, a Youth outreach worker by profession, former Chair of the York Region District School Board, and current Ward 7 Councillor at the City of Markham Council, is a dedicated advocate for children and youth. As the first female of Tamil Canadian heritage elected to public office, her leadership has brought progressive changes, fostering strong, safe, and inclusive communities. With a BA in Psychology from Brock University, she has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, focusing on community capacity building in Scarborough and Markham and has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth Medals for Service.
Derek Oh
Co-Founder of Szio+
Derek graduated with a BA in Economics from Brock University and now has over 15 years of experience with Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Conmed where he worked with medical devices and pharmaceutical products. In 2018, Derek left the corporate world with an ex-colleague to become Co-Founders of a healthcare company called Szio+ which focuses on natural health to prevent and manage specific therapeutic conditions. Today, Szio+ provides the brands Utiva and Ferosom Forte which are recommended by over 10,000 healthcare practitioners across Canada and the US and continues to be a leader in education and solutions.

He is the recipient of the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals, and the Chinese Canadian Legend Award (CCLA). Justin is the Honorary Patron for Asian Heritage Month (Canadian Foundation for Asian Culture).
